The phenomenon being photographed
Every living organism gives off electrical impulses that change continuously. Through a special photographic process, which grew out of the discovery made by the Kirlians, this natural discharge becomes visible. The fingertips of the hands and feet are photographed: these are the terminal points where the meridians begin and end, and the place where the radiation is densest.
What can be read in the image
According to the method devised by Peter Mandel, the characteristics of the radiation tell a great deal to those who know how to read them: for example, the link between a symptom and its origin, a possible point of origin of the discomfort that is not necessarily where you feel the pain, and which measures are most suitable for you.
For this reason the photograph is not an end in itself, but a starting point: it becomes the map from which to choose colorpuncture and the other tools of Esogetic Medicine.
How a session works
- I see clients by appointment, at Via San Rocco 4/c in Bologna.
- The session can begin with Kirlian photography using the DEPT machine, the most important method of energetic assessment in Esogetic Medicine: it is not compulsory but it is recommended.
- Then it is completed with colorpuncture using the light pens and, based on what emerges, with other therapies (infrared and ultraviolet, induction therapy, crystal therapy): one or more, including in combination.
- You book by time: colorpuncture 60 minutes, €50 or 90 minutes, €60; with the DEPT 60 minutes, €60 or 90 minutes, €70.
In Mandel’s method, repeating the photograph over the course of the treatment programme allows us to follow how the situation changes and to adapt the treatment straight away.
Who it is for
For those who want to understand how their energy is doing and to look after themselves in a holistic way, also with prevention in mind: in Esogetic Medicine, prevention has a central place. It is not a medical diagnosis and does not replace medical check-ups or tests: it works alongside them.

The colorpuncture session is booked by time: 60 minutes cost €50, 90 minutes cost €60. With the DEPT, Kirlian photography with the DEPT machine (not compulsory, but recommended), they cost €60 and €70. During the session, based on the assessment and the needs of the person, the other therapies of Esogetic Medicine are also used: infrared and ultraviolet, induction therapy, crystal therapy. The 90-minute session also includes foot or ear reflexology.
The acronym DEPT comes from the Italian name of Peter Mandel's method, “Diagnosi Energetica dei Punti Terminali” (in English, Energetic Diagnosis of the Terminal Points): here I speak of assessment because Kirlian photography has no value as a medical diagnosis.
