In Esogetic Medicine, light is not only colour. At the two ends of the visible spectrum are infrared and ultraviolet light: the two “pillars of light” on which Peter Mandel built his pain therapy.
Infrared light: the body
Infrared light is linked above all to the body. The quality of its radiation, applied to specific reflex zones, is used to work on pain: in Mandel’s method it is the light chosen when pain is at the centre, whether it is a recent complaint or one that has lasted for some time.
Ultraviolet light: depth
Ultraviolet light, on the other hand, addresses the unconscious and the spiritual level. It is chosen when an “in-depth effect” is sought: on specific areas of the skin it stimulates and reorders the process of information, which in Mandel’s method is the plane of the mind.
How a session works
As with colorpuncture, light pens are placed on the skin on the chosen zones: no needles, no added pain, a non-invasive treatment. Infrared and ultraviolet are not used on their own but within a colorpuncture session: the session can begin with the DEPT, Kirlian photography with the DEPT machine (not compulsory, but recommended), then colorpuncture is carried out and, based on what emerges, other lights are added.
